General Terms and Conditions EASY PALACE City Hostel in Munich
SINGLE BOOKINGS UP TO 15 PERSONS
Bookings
Bookings for single guests can be made online, by fax or in writing.
A credit card number is required for all bookings; please note however, that accommodation costs have to be paid upon arrival. Possible cancellation fees will be charged to your credit card. The information submitted when booking is legally binding.
Payment
All hostel services are to be paid by EC, VISA, Mastercard, AMEX or in cash upon arrival.
EASY PALACE Hotel also accepts Traveler Cheques issued in euros. Should any further costs accrue for processing, they will be charged to the depositor
When reservations are submitted in writing or per fax at least the 1st night of the stay must be paid in advance. The remaining amount is due upon arrival.
When booking for the Oktoberfest and other major events and trade fairs in Munich, the total amount for the reservations must be paid in advance.
Please note that during the Oktoberfest period we will retain a security deposit upon arrival of EUR 50.00 in cash per person for a room you have fully booked. Please collect the corresponding total amount from the guests and have it available upon arrival and hand it over to a member of the reception staff against receipt. Provided there are no complaints about the condition of the room upon check-out, the full amount of the deposit will, of course, be refunded.
Cancellations
Reservations can be cancelled free of charge no later than 24 hours prior to arrival (by 2 pm). The cancellation must be in writing. Cancellations made on the telephone will not be accepted.
Cancellation is not possible for the Oktoberfest and other major events and trade fairs in Munich.No refunds are issued if a guest cancels or does not check in.
GROUP BOOKINGS 16 AND MORE PERSONS
Groups of young people under the age of 18 can be accommodated only if accompanied by at least one responsible adult escort. The escorts must spend the night in the hotel. The number of adult escorts depends on the size of the group.

Questions about groups can be addressed per e-mail to group@easypalace.de.
Payment
4-6 weeks after returning our group contract form, fully filled in and signed, the total amount for the reservation must be paid in advance.
For bookings made on short notice up to one week before arrival, payment is possible only per credit card. Any remittance costs shall be charged to the depositor.
Please note that upon arrival of the group we collect a security deposit of EUR 20.00 per person in cash. The teacher/group leader will collect the corresponding total amount and will have it available and hand it over to a member of the reception staff against receipt. Provided there are no complaints about the condition of the room upon check-out, the full amount of the deposit will, of course, be refunded to the teacher/group leader.
Cancellations
For cancellations made more than 3 months prior to arrival:25% of the total amount;
For cancellations made less than 3 months prior to arrival: 50% of the total amount;
less than four weeks prior to arrival: 100% of the total amount plus 50% of the subsistence costs.
Up to 10% of the group members can be cancelled free of charge four weeks prior to arrival.
House rules
The house rules are a component of the General Terms and Conditions. In the event of infringement of the house rules, EASY PALACE City Hostel is entitled to terminate the accommodation agreement without notice. No refund is granted for services not taken advantage of due to contract cancellation..
Liability / Deposits
Anyone causing damage to the building or inventory is liable for the costs within the scope of the statutory provisions (in particular also escorts and event organizers).
Theft and intentional damage of property will be promptly reported to the police. Upon the departure of groups the rooms will be inspected by our staff. Gross befoulment and damage will be invoiced and must be paid for upon check-out.
EASY PALACE assumes no liability for luggage stored in the luggage room or for vehicles or bicycles parked on the premises of EASY PALACE City Hostel.
Final provisions
The invalidity of any provisions of these General Terms and Conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
